Heeton’s first hotel investment in Japan was the Super Hotel Sapporo, acquired through a joint venture in February 2016. The 15 storeyed hotel is part of a mixed use development that includes residential, retail and car park leasing elements.

The Super Hotel was built in 2008. Consisting of 164 bedrooms, it is an economy standard operation with limited facilities. Its location in the heart of the bustling Susukino district puts it in close proximity to most of the main business and leisure offerings in the city, and it is popular with both foreign and domestic travellers. Hosuisusukino station and Susukino stations are within a few minutes’ walk of the property.

The Super Hotel Sapporo is leased to Super Hotel Co on a fixed rental basis, one of 113 hotels in Japan operating under their management.
